Buffalo Wing Burgers with Blue Cheese

These delicious burgers are drizzled with Buffalo Wing Sauce and crumbled blue cheese. Perfect for gilling all summer long.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound lean ground beef chicken or turkey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon + 1/4 cup Franks Red Hot Sauce Buffalo Wing Flavour
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • dash pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 4 ounces blue cheese crumbled
  • 4 kaiser or sesame seed buns

Instructions

  • Preheat clean grill to medium-high and spray with non-stick spray
  • In a large bowl combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, 1 tablespoon hot sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and a dash or two of Worcestershire sauce and mix until well blended.
  • Form meat mixture into 4 large patties about 1 inch thick.
  • Grill over medium heat for approximately 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees fahrenheit.
  • Meanwhile, combine melted butter, remaining 1/4 cup hot sauce, and a dash or two of Worcestershire sauce whisking until smooth and well combined. Set aside.
  • When the patties are done, toast the buns on the grill for a minute or two. The sprinkle patties with blue cheese and allow the cheese to melt with the grill turned off and the lid closed.

    To assemble: place a grilled burger on a toasted bun and top with chunks of blue cheese and spoon over hot sauce as desired.

Notes

Serve with fresh tomoto, lettuce, and sliced or fried onions
For a thicker sauce, place in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes, and then whisk again when you remove it from the frige to blend well.
